Viscous Damped Low Frequency

Vibro/Dynamics Lo/Tuned™ spring isolators feature a low natural frequency (2–3 Hz), making them highly effective at protecting sensitive areas from vibration and shock. They significantly reduce vibration transmission generated by high-speed metal stamping operations, preventing vibration from disturbing equipment and the surrounding environments.

VSX Lo/Tuned™ spring mounts are available in a range of capacities and natural frequencies to meet the specific requirements of each press and application. An optional built-in leveling feature allows for fast and precise installation.

These isolators are built with a rugged design to ensure long service life. A high-quality elastomer cushion provides uniform contact with the foundation and minimizes high-frequency spring resonance vibration pass-through. Customization options are available to meet specific requirements. Typical applications include high-speed motor lamination, electronics and metal container presses. They are also a good option for generators, compressors, pumps, measuring equipment, HVAC systems, and other high-speed equipment with low inertia forces to machine mass ratios.
